Here’s the latest cowboy art news from Hank Richter’s western art studio.

Three big art shows are displaying Richter’s western paintings.

• On April 4th 5th and 6th  Hank is displaying paintings of his cowboy art and western ranch life scenes and other fun art in a new Thunderbird Artists Gallery show and sales held in Marble Falls, Texas.   Marble Falls is located just north of Austin.   
• Hank is preparing for the San Dimas, California, Festival of Western Art judged show April 26-28. 2008.  The Festival is sponsored by the city of San Dimas and the art is displayed in the City Hall complex.  Fine professional artists who are selected and invited from around the country bring extraordinary cowboy and quality art to the show.
• Hank recently had two paintings judged into the Peoria, AZ Arts Commission – The Celebration Of Artists   His watercolor, from his Grand Canyon Suite, won an honorable mention. One of Hank’s major western paintings, an oil titled “Now Here’s The Plan”, is included in the city of Peoria’s permanent art collection

This Phoenix cowboy artist’s work is well known by major western art collectors and is noted for its accuracy to detail, drama, exciting color use and action.  Hank works in most art media including: oil, watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink and graphite.   His Western art studio in Phoenix, AZ is open to visitors.   Hank’s ranch and corral scenes and other cowboy art are exhibited at the fine art galleries listed on the home page.
