One of Arizona's more famous natural wonders, this dramatic arch was created centuries ago by water and wind erosion. It spans a gorge once readily accessible by a difficult land trail. Unfortunately, this marvelous formation can now only be seen close up in its awesome beauty by boat via Arizona's Lake Mead, now the largest manmade lake in the modern world.
