Along with the standard cattle-working pony strings, ranches often had "monster" workhorses in their remudas, used to pull the water wagon, feed wagon and handle other tough jobs. Here, a big black and a sorrel are being brought up out of the corral for another hard pull-an every day event around the large ranches of central Arizona.
