Experienced cowboys tend to leave their mounts "loose" saddled during any indefinite work break. This makes for a lot less work when it's time to climb aboard again for another couple of hard hours working a catch of stubborn cattle. This is such a common sight on big working ranches that I felt prompeted to capture one such daily event for this painting.
