DONE FOR THE DAY
A cowboy's workday generally
starts at daybreak and ends around two p.m. The ritual of putting
his pony up starts with unsaddling followed by a short cool down.
Maybe then a quick soak, but always a gentle rubdown and treatment
of any potentially harmful saddle blanket burns. This daily ritual
ensures the cow pony will respond with another good ride the
following day.
