All along the canyon rim one finds the evidence of nature's grand determined plan. Ancient, gnarled pines find deep roots, almost in solid rock, to form a line of bent, wind swept "guardians". Their individual shapes create a visual entry into the vast, sweeping view of this world of renowned wonder.
