Curse of the Single Shot

Back to Bronze Sculpture by Hank Richter

Curse of the Single Shot
At all times the Mountain Man depended on his trusty flintlock rifle, but in this bronze, we see the problem: only one shot per load! Here, having used his one shot with no time to reload, he faces a real dilemma and grave danger as he uses every ounce of strength and cunning to valiantly fight off a pack of bold, angry wolves using his weapon as a club for his only protection. This bronze won "Best of Sculpture" at the Festival of Art Show in San Dimas, California. Size: 11"H x 8.5"L x 12.5"W
